Financial Policies

Horizon is committed to integrity in handling the church’s finances. The following are some of the measures we take to insure honesty and stewardship of financial contributions:

  • The church’s Board of Elders approve a yearly budget. All expenditures are accounted for within the framework of that budget.
  • All contributions to the church are of course tax deductible. At the end of the year, each contributor receives a letter totaling all contributions for the year.
  • The Board of Elders reviews the church finances on a regular basis.
  • The By-laws of the church are available for review by any member of the church.

Through these measures and others like them, Horizon Community Church is seeking to be faithful stewards of the resources God blesses us with.
