What to expect on your first Sunday…

So today is your first Sunday. You’ve like what you heard, but you’re not sure what’s next. You hardly know anyone & you’re wondering what it means to become part of this church community?

Does is mean consistently attending Sunday services?
Does it mean playing shortstop on the church softball team?
Does it mean bringing a three-bean salad to the church potluck?

Our Sunday services are pretty casual and the preaching is honest. The way we express our faith may be a little different than what you’ve known of Christian faith. Still, our Sunday service is the obvious entrance point for most people. Come & worship with us and as you do, ask yourself these questions:

Do these people love God?
Do these people love each other?
Is this a real, honest & authentic & safe group of people?
Can I see myself learning with this community?

Worship
Our worship, though led by a band, is designed for full community participation. Within worship we incorporate times of quiet with scripture reading, confession & communion.

Preaching
We believe the Biblical narrative is the essential tool God uses to form the identity of his church. Thus we are committed to using scripture as the foundation of all our preaching. As well, our messages are designed to equip us for the life we find outside the church doors.

Children's ministry

We believe that our children deserve as much attention as our adults in our church. Thus, we do not baby-sit our children, but strive to teach them the full extent of God’s love.
